Immediate Action Please

I was reminded yesterday about how important it is to follow-up on conversations with real actions.  I had a brief chat with Andrew Harris of BlackCat at our Business Hub networking breakfast when he mentioned that the North Harbour Business Association was hosting a lunch next Wednesday and the guest speaker was Prime Minister John Key.  Coincidentally, I had also sent a briefing package to Prime Minister Key relating to his role as Minister of Tourism earlier in the week. Andrew promised to get me the contact name at NHBA and within 30 minutes, I had a text with the contact info.  I had a bit of time before my next meeting, so I contacted them straight away and managed to get on the list for the lunch.  I hope to get brief moment with the Prime Minister to at least mention the materials I sent.  The point of all of this is that Andrew followed up immediately on an action he promised, I followed up immediately, and the result is that I have an opportunity to get in front of a very influential person that will help in getting My Safe Ride Home launced in NZ.
