What to do about people who don’t return calls?

I have this general feeling of malaise that comes over me at times.  Generally it occurs when I get a promise of contact and follow-up from someone and then find it next to impossible to get in touch with them again.  There are times that phone calls can’t be returned immediately, we’ve all experienced those.  There are times when we forget to return calls, or that we promised to follow-up, we’ve all experienced those as well.  Regardless of these and other equally valid reasons (note the use of the word reasons, not excuses!) for not following up it is important that we all remember that it’s NEVER TOO LATE to do something about it.  So, if you’ve been meaning to call that person back, or reply to that email that’s been nagging on you, now’s the time, seize the moment, you will be surprised at the response you get!

I agree! But is this worse in NZ than, say, N. America, as I suspect? It seems pretty bad here! Something to do with the “productivity problem” etc maybe? But I agree, one must face that apathy in the face and respond! Just don’t use capitals 🙂
